Last week against Kilbourne, he had 271 yards in total offense. He also scored on runs of 1 and 18 yards. RB Matt Alexander, a 6-foot, 200-pound junior, rushed for 103 yards and three TDs last week … Lima Senior: Heading into the loss at Rayen, Ryan Nathan had rushed for 445 yards and five scores to lead the Spartans. QB Matt Beggin had 45 completions for 468 yards and two scores.

Wentling Field the Chieftains and Blue Devils are 2-0 in the conference as is Mohawk … Carey leads the all-time series between the two schools 11-6 … Hopewell-Loudon has won 31 straight regular season games including 22 in a row in the MAL … Hopewell-Loudon’s last league loss was a 24-14 defeat to Carey Sept. 12, 2003 … Carey has won three straight after starting the season 0-2 (Both losses were one-point heartbreakers) … The Chieftains are averaging 40.2 points per game on offense while allowing just 8.0 points per contest … Carey is averaging 29.8 points per game … With a win Friday at Carey (3-2, 2-0 MAL), the Chieftains would match Fremont St. Joe for the league record, which the Streaks set from 1987-91 … In the Blue Devils, the Chieftains face the league’s top rushing attack, one which produces just under 300 yards per game. Tailback Sean Brickner already has 883 yards (9.6 per carry) and 15 total touchdowns … Last week: Sean Brickner rushed for 218 yards and four touchdowns, and Andrew Brose threw for 254 yards in Hopewell-Loudon’s 42-14 pounding of Seneca East. Carey piled up 310 rushing yards and held North Baltimore to 15 total yards in a 48-7 road win … Last year: Sean Brickner scored four short touchdowns, and the Chieftains tallied 403 yards of offense in a 35-7 win. Carey managed only 152 yards of offense.
