UF signs 18
The Jon Wauford era at the University of Findlay is in full swing.
The Oilers signed 18 players for its 2007 recruiting class including three area players -- 9 of them were offensive players where UF has seemed to need the most help in recent years.

I'm familiar with a few of the kids on the list beyond the locals and it looks like a decent group when you consider the disruption a change in head coach presents. Is it an impact class? Time will tell although we have witnessed the type of athletes that exist in the GLIAC. I've seen recruiting classes at UofF that were more heralded since they switched to D-II, but perhaps all that shows is that the proof is in the puddin' and that it's what they do on the field that counts and not some perceived reputation. I was able to see L-B play a couple of times during the year and Brandon Craft looks like a fine addition, good movement and instincts.
