Buster is bloggin' on the game
Finally, I got my buddy Mark Heiman to contribute to The Buzz. Buster and I were waiting for Thursday's NLCS game to wrap up and I said, "Hey, Buster. Bang me out a few paragraphs on your thoughts on tomorrow's game"
No one knows the BVC like my man Buster...So here ya go.

It didn’t just rain Tuesday in the Dola and Dunkirk area.
It was a gully washer, according to Hardin Northern co-Athletics Director Bob Dysert.
That three inches of rain, plus the extra precipitation that fell Thursday, may not have much effect on tonight’s huge Blanchard Valley Conference encounter between the Polar Bears and Liberty-Benton, but it will affect the fans and their abilities to find parking.
As for the game, hopefully it’s another barn burner between the two schools, much like last year’s contest, which HN won 21-13. (Although, I’m guessing that L-B and its fans would prefer the 35-0 pasting the Eagles put on the Bears in 2004.)
The two programs have a very short, but rich history, with their games deciding the BVC the last three seasons. There is a lot of mutual respect between the two good programs.
Pete Brunow has built Hardin Northern, the ninth smallest Ohio school to play football, into a Division VI state power in compiling a 208-49 record in 23 years. That mark includes the 2004 Division VI state championship and a runner-up finish in 2002.
Scott Garlock has turned around the fortunes of Liberty-Benton in his five years at the school. He has compiled a 42-11 record and took the Eagles, who have played very well since McComb put a scare in them, to the playoffs the last three seasons.
The game is going to come down to how well the Eagles can contain Hardin Northern’s speed on offense and special teams. Brunow likes to play close to the vest, but always seems to come up with a trick play when needed.
The Polar Bears have to stop a lot of L-B weapons. Freshman quarterback Aaron Craft doesn’t play like a freshman considering he’s completed about 75 percent of his passes and been intercepted just twice.
HN saw Ada’s Zac Dysert throw for 500 yards in the first week, but the Bears stopped McComb’s passing in week three.
It’s a cliche, but whoever makes the least mistakes is gonna win.
It took a coin toss for me to pick a winner for The Courier’s Pigskin Picks. That’s how unsure I am of picking a winner in this contest.

Thanks Jamie for posting my suggestion on where to watch the osu game this weekend. I hate calling and bugging local places to see if they were caring, but since u are doing for courier it is kind of free advertisement for them and sure they were glad to talk to u! What is your take on it only being on ESPNU? I don't get it at all, other than big business! I could see it if it didn't involve the #1 team in the country, but do u think we are headed down the road if u want to watch any college football u will have to pay for it. Thanks again for doing article now i have to figure out where to go tomorrow :) ....GO BUCKS!
