Thomas...Yes, Quinn...Hell no!

Joe Thomas with the Cleveland Browns third pick?
I couldn’t have been happier.
Trading next year’s No.1 and more to get Brady Quinn? I couldn’t have been more pissed.
He’s not worthy.
I don’t understand the love affair with this guy. I know, I know, he was expected to be one of the top players taken in the draft and is supposed to be one of the top quarterbacks in college football.
I don’t get why people are so enamored with this kid. It’s not like the Browns will be playing Army, Navy and Stanford anytime soon. I’d rather give the guys we have now a shot at the QB spot rather than a Notre Dame QB that looks like he just stepped out of the cover of GQ Magazine.
When Savage and the boys took Thomas, I thought maybe they finally get it. I was blissful for three hours thinking that finally maybe the Browns knew what they were doing. Mortgaging next year’s draft to move back into the first round to take Brady Quinn ruined all hope I had that these guys know what they are doing in the Browns “War Room”
Thoughts?
Tomorrow reflections on the L-B Invite.

They need a QB. Charlie Fry is not a first string QB. He is to small and has a weak arm.

You may be right on Frye. But I believe that BQ is nothing but a product of the Notre Dame and ESPN hype machine. He isn't the answer either at QB

He may not be, we will see. Frye had his chance, he sucks.

That is the same reaction many had with Tom Brady. Only time will tell.

Come on, Jamie! How can you not be excited? The Browns had the best draft, in my opinion. A top-notch O-linemen, a QB that could be good (toughest position to judge), and a corner in round 2 that has round 1 talent. I'm not a Browns fan, but I'm excited for them. I like Crennel and hopefully his staff can develop these guys.

LOL, Charlie Frye is no Tom Brady....
Never will be, he has as much chance at being Tom Brady as Tim Couch does.

BQ will be a wash out. It's been nearly 30 years since ND has produced a good NFL qback

Let's not trash the Browns draft -- yet. BQ is the best QB prospect the Browns have had since...Kosar. A lot of us thought Kosar stunk too, but he turned out pretty well. Give it a chance. He can't be worse than Charlie Frye or Derek Anderson or Ken Dorsey.
