Predictions and news

Here are this week’s predictions. Last week I went 13-5 bringing my record to 24-9. Anyone wanting to post their own predictions feel free to do so. I have the game notes nearly complete and will post them after 6 p.m.

Here we go…

VAN BUREN over Arcadia -- Should be a very entertaining game.

Cory-Rawson over LEIPSIC -- I think the Hornets will rebound any the Vikes offense has struggled

Liberty-Benton over ARLINGTON -- Devils want a win over their suburban Findlay rivals in the worst way.

HARDIN NORTHERN over McComb -- Another test to see if the Bears can stop the pass.

Pandora-Gilboa over VANLUE -- The Wildcats will have their hands full.

Ada over COLUMBUS GROVE -- Dysert has already thrown for around 1,000 yards but the Dogs losing three straight at home is unthinkable.

BLUFFTON over Delphos Jefferson -- Wildcats have improved greatly but the Pirates will still be too much for them.

PATRICK HENRY over Montpelier -- If you think I was going to pick Montpelier then you are plumb loco.

WAPAKONETA over Ottawa-Glandorf -- this is the best Wapak team in years.

Elmwood over NORTH BALTIMORE -- Both teams need to find someone else to play in Week 3.

Fostoria over TOLEDO WHITMER -- Panthers take it on the chin to Tiffin, Fremont and Fostoria.

Hopewell-Loudon over GIBSONBURG -- Next pick please.

Ridgemont over RIVERDALE -- The Falcons had better play better this week or their streak won’t end this season.

CAREY over Sidney Lehman -- After 2 one-point losses the Devils are overdue.

DANBURY over St. Wendelin -- The Lakers scored 3 times last week, the Mohawks only once.

Upper Arlington over FINDLAY -- The Trojans better get things turned around before they head into the GBC.

UPPER SANDUSKY over Wynford -- The Royals have sputtered on offense this season.
