And then there were two

And then there were two.
Out of 30 area teams that started on the road to the OHSAA state tournament there are just two boys basketball teams left Liberty-Benton and Upper Sandusky.
It’s too bad these teams didn’t play one another this season.
I never did get to see L-B play. Is there anyone out there who has watched both of these teams? How would you say they matched up?
Would Diebler and Falk go off on the Eagles? Or could L-B’s defense and patience keep them in check?
They are only one division apart and I imagine that Upper must be close to Division III status.
So what do the basketball minds out there think…how would the Rams and Eagles match up?

Saw Upper at Savage Hall this weekend and the only time I had a chance to see LB was over in Bluffton. I certainly hope that the Bluffton game was an off night because there was no comparison between LB and Upper based on that game. I hope they both win state titles, however.

It would be a great game. Upper's run, run, run, vs. LB's fundamental discipline style. One thing I can't figure out is why no one has tried to really hold the ball on Upper. One way to frustrate a team that likes to run is to keep the ball away from them. LB can also run, but I think they handle the ball well enough they could play keep away. LB would have a very tough matchup with Diebler, as do most teams. LB's tallest starter is 6'1"?

    Good luck to both teams...
